Lakeland Valeting carries out work at many marinas around the Cumbria area. Windermere Marina Village, Aquatic, Waterhead, Lakeside , Mereside Newbury Bridge and on Lake Windermere.
Being fully mobile, we travel to your location to undertake any work, be it on the water or on hard standing.
With 15 years’ experience we have cleaned and polished many boats from Flybridge cruisers, canal boats, large & small sailing boats, dinghies, canoes etc. and a huge range of different makes of craft, Sealine, Fourwinns Bayliner Fairline Princess, Viking, Pearl, Sunseeker etc.
If the gel coat is dull oxidised and faded, we can bring it back to new condition with Marine Aglaze. This lifts out dirt and impurities, removes fine scratches, salting, oxidation and gently polishes back to restore the true colour.
If the gel coat is scratched, we will use a compound to buff out scratches, and fill with Pre –wax colour restorer. We then apply Aglaze surface preparation and a several coats of Algaze sealant to protect the finish. Once we have buffed and polished your vessel ensuring we have a high gloss finish we then apply Marine Aglaze

AGlaze Marine Products AGlaze surface sealants and protection products have been used by the Marine & Leisure industry for the last ten years, giving protection to some of the world’s largest superyachts and have approval for use by some of the leading manufacturers such as Sunseeker and Fairline. Boats and yachts are subjected to harsh conditions caused by the sun, sea and salt, so we have specially formulated sealants and maintenance products specific to the needs of the marine environment, including different sealants dependant on the finish to which it is being applied, GRP, marine painted surfaces and bare metal. The marine version of the sealant has enhanced protection against salt and gives a higher resilience to UV.
